Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars

A delightful dessert combining the creamy richness of cheesecake, nostalgic flavors of apple pie, and sweet caramel goodness, perfect for autumn or year-round.

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups diced apples (such as Granny Smith)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a lined 9×9-inch baking pan.
  4. Bake the crust for about 10 minutes.
  5. Mix cream cheese and 1/2 cup of sugar until smooth.
  6. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly, then add vanilla extract.
  7. Fold in diced apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  8. Pour the filling over the crust.
  9. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the center is just set.
  10. Cool the bars at room temperature for about an hour, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  11. Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
  12. Slice into squares and serve.

Notes

These bars can be enjoyed as is or garnished with whipped cream and extra caramel. For variations, try adding nuts, chocolate, or pumpkin.
