Easy Bruschetta

A classic Italian appetizer featuring toasted bread topped with juicy tomatoes, aromatic garlic, and fresh basil.

  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice your baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  2. Toast the bread slices in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, until golden brown.
  3. Combine your diced tomatoes, minced garlic, and fresh basil in a medium bowl.
  4. Add the olive oil and gently toss to coat the tomatoes.
  5. Assemble the bruschetta by spooning the tomato mixture onto each toasted bread slice.
  6. Finish with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar if desired, and enjoy!
