Easy No-Peel Fresh Peach Crisp

A delightful summer dessert featuring juicy peaches topped with a crunchy oat-almond streusel, requiring no peeling for simplicity.

  • 6 to 7 medium fresh peaches, washed and sliced
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar (65 g)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (65 g)
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (90 g)
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds, lightly toasted (35 g)
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar (70 g)
  • 6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces (85 g)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the peaches into wedges, no need to peel.
  3. In a large bowl, toss sliced peaches with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice; let sit for 10 minutes.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, oats, almonds, brown sugar, and salt.
  5. Add cold butter pieces and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Pour peach mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle topping evenly over the peaches.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until top is golden and peaches are bubbly.
  8. Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for the best experience. You can add berries or swap in other fruits for variations.
