Raspberry Lemonade Sorbet

A refreshing and vibrant frozen treat that combines fresh raspberries and zesty lemons, perfect for cooling off on a warm day.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Blend the raspberries in a blender until smooth. Strain if desired for a silky texture.
  2. Make a simple syrup by heating sugar and water in a saucepan until dissolved. Let cool.
  3. Juice the lemons, removing seeds, and strain the juice if necessary.
  4. Combine blended raspberries, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a bowl. Add cooled simple syrup, adjusting sweetness to taste.
  5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
  6. Churn the sorbet mixture in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer instructions for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Freeze the churned sorbet in an airtight container for 3-4 hours until firm.
  8. Enjoy! Scoop and serve, letting sit at room temperature for easier scooping if too hard.
