Strawberry Sorbet

A refreshing and delightful strawberry sorbet that captures the essence of summer with ripe strawberries and a touch of lemon.

  • 2 pounds fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)
  • 1 & 1/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare your strawberries by hulling and slicing them, then place in a mixing bowl.
  2. Sprinkle the sugar over the strawberries and mix gently; let sit for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Transfer the strawberries into a blender, add water, lemon juice, and salt; blend until smooth.
  4. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness as needed.
  5. Pour the mixture into a shallow container and freeze for 4-6 hours.
  6. Serve the sorbet in bowls garnished with fresh mint.
