  • 1 cup whipped cream or Cool Whip
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding, prepared
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup crumbled shortcake or pound cake

Instructions

  1. Prep the strawberries: Remove the green tops and slice them thinly. Set aside.
  2. Whip the cream: Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, adding powdered sugar and vanilla to taste.
  3. Prepare the pudding: Mix instant pudding with milk or prepare it from scratch and let it cool.
  4. Combine the whipped cream and pudding gently to maintain the texture.
  5. Mix in the mini marshmallows to the cream mixture.
  6. Assemble the salad by layering strawberries, whipped cream mixture, and shortcake in a serving bowl.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Can be made ahead of time and tastes better after chilling. Serve in bowls or individual cups for a beautiful presentation.
