Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups All-purpose flour

  • 2 teaspoons Active dry yeast or instant yeast
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Softened butter
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Warm your milk in a small saucepan until it’s warm to the touch, around 110°F.
  2. Bloom the yeast by sprinkling it over the warm milk with a pinch of sugar and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  3. Mix the flour, sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Combine eggs with the bloomed yeast mixture or directly with the instant yeast.
  5. Form the dough by gradually adding wet ingredients to dry, mixing until shaggy.
  6. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  7. Cover the dough in a greased bowl with a towel and let it rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  8. Punch it down after rising to release air.
  9. Prepare your workspace and roll the dough out into a large rectangle about 16×24 inches and 1/4 inch thick.
  10. Spread the softened butter on the dough surface.
  11. Combine brown sugar and ground cinnamon, then sprinkle over the buttered dough.
  12. Roll the dough tightly into a log from one long side.
  13. Slice the rolled dough into 12 equal pieces.
  14. Arrange the rolls in a greased baking dish, leaving space between them.
  15. Cover and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  16. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) while rolls rise.
  17. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  18. Make the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  19. Drizzle the glaze over the rolls as soon as they come out of the oven.
