  • Fresh Garlic

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace: Clear your kitchen counter and lightly dust it with flour.
  2. Roll out the dough: Let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Aim for about 12 inches in diameter and 1/4 inch thickness.
  3. Preheat your oven: Turn it on to the highest setting (475°F to 500°F) about 30 minutes before baking.
  4. Add olive oil: Place the shaped dough on a pizza peel or baking sheet and drizzle olive oil over it.
  5. Layer on the garlic: Sprinkle minced or sliced fresh garlic over the olive oil.
  6. Spread the tomatoes: Slice fresh tomatoes thinly and layer them over the dough or crush canned tomatoes and spread them evenly.
  7. Melt the mozzarella: Tear fresh mozzarella into chunks and distribute them over the tomatoes.
  8. Season it up: Sprinkle sea salt and freshly cracked pepper over the pizza.
  9. Bake it: Transfer your pizza to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  10. Add fresh basil: Tear basil leaves and scatter them over the pizza right after it comes out of the oven.
  11. Slice and serve: Allow it to cool slightly before slicing and serving immediately.
