Lemon Garlic Butter Salmon

A quick and easy recipe for Salmon fillets infused with lemon, garlic, and butter, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
  4. Melt about a tablespoon of the garlic butter mixture in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and sear the salmon, skin side down, for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Spoon the remaining garlic butter over the salmon.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Check for doneness using a fork.
  8. Drizzle with more garlic butter and garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with quinoa or a light salad for a refreshing contrast. For a citrus twist, you can substitute lemon juice with lime or orange.
