Fudgy Chocolate Brownie Cookies

These fudgy chocolate brownie cookies combine rich chocolate flavor with the chewy goodness of brownies, creating a nostalgic treat.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat and allow it to cool slightly.
  3. Mix the granulated sugar and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl. Pour in the melted butter.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, and stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just mixed.
  7. Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  8. Scoop heaping tablespoons of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets with space between each.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set and the centers look slightly underbaked.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding nuts or dried fruits. These cookies can also be frozen and enjoyed later.
