  • 1 cup Apple Cider
  • 1 large Onion, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh Thyme
  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pork chops by patting them dry and seasoning with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the chops in a skillet with melted butter for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Remove the chops and set them aside on a plate.
  4. Caramelize the sliced onions in the same skillet for 5-7 minutes until translucent.
  5. Add the apple cider and thyme, bringing it to a simmer.
  6. Return the pork chops to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Adjust seasoning to taste with salt, pepper, or vinegar.
  8. Serve the pork chops with the sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted Brussels sprouts for sides that complement the rich flavors. You can also garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme.
