Buffalo Chicken Pasta Bake

A hearty and comforting Buffalo Chicken Pasta Bake that combines tender pasta, shredded chicken, and a spicy Buffalo sauce topped with gooey cheese.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup Buffalo sauce
  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella and cheddar)
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, reserving a cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. Mix the cooked chicken and Buffalo sauce in a large bowl until coated.
  4. Combine the pasta, chicken mixture, Greek yogurt or sour cream, and 1 cup of shredded cheese in the pot, adding reserved pasta water as needed for a creamy consistency.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until melted and bubbly, broiling for a couple of minutes if desired.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

This dish can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours; just adjust the baking time accordingly.
