Maple Mustard Chicken

A sweet and tangy chicken dish marinated in a delicious maple mustard glaze, perfect for any weeknight dinner.

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the chicken by rinsing under cold water and patting dry.
  3. Make the maple mustard marinade by combining maple syrup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and olive oil in a medium bowl.
  4. Marinate the chicken in a shallow dish with the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and arrange evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Baste the chicken with reserved marinade halfway through baking.
  8. Broil for the last 2-3 minutes for a crispy finish.
  9. Rest the chicken for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For more flavor, marinate overnight. Serve with a fresh salad or over quinoa.
