Pumpkin Dump Cake

  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish and grease it lightly with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Mix the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice in a large bowl until blended.
  4. Pour the pumpkin mixture into your prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Add the yellow cake mix by sprinkling it evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the cake mix.
  7. Pour the melted butter over the top.
  8. Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and edges are bubbly.
  9. Cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
