Marry Me Chicken Pasta

A creamy and flavorful pasta dish that transforms ordinary days into delicious celebrations of love and life.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then add the penne pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season your chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and then add to the skillet.
  3. Cook the chicken until it’s golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet and set aside to rest before slicing.
  4. Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well, then add the sun-dried tomatoes and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Slice the rested chicken breasts into strips and return them to the skillet. Toss everything to combine, then add the cooked pasta.
  7. Stir in the remaining Parmesan cheese to thicken the sauce and coat the pasta beautifully.
  8. Serve the pasta hot, garnished with fresh basil and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For additional flavor, consider adding a splash of white wine to the sauce. You can also customize the dish by adding more vegetables or spices.
