Instructions

  3. Add milk slowly, whisking until smooth. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in pumpkin puree and cheddar cheese until melted and combined. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Combine pasta with the cheese sauce, ensuring the pasta is well coated.
  7. Serve in bowls, topped with optional ingredients as desired.
