Taco Soup

A comforting and flavorful Taco Soup that brings back warm memories of family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Can (15 oz) Beans (Black, Pinto, or Kidney)
  • 1 Can (15 oz) Corn (Sweet or Fire-Roasted)
  • 1 Can (14.5 oz) Diced Tomatoes (with green chilies)
  • 1 Pack Taco Seasoning (or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Brown the Ground Beef in a large pot over medium heat, crumbling it as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add the Taco Seasoning and stir to infuse the beef with flavor. Optionally add a splash of water.
  3. Toss in the drained beans and corn, mixing well.
  4. Incorporate the Diced Tomatoes along with their juices. Let simmer on low for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Adjust seasoning as necessary, tasting for flavor balance.
  6. Garnish with shredded cheese, sour cream, or avocado before serving.

Notes

This Taco Soup is flexible; feel free to add extra ingredients based on what you have on hand.
