30-Minute Creamy Tomato Gnocchi

A quick, comforting dish featuring pillowy gnocchi coated in a luscious creamy tomato sauce, perfect for a cozy night in or a dinner party.

  • 1 package of gnocchi
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the gnocchi by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook until they float, about 2-3 minutes. Drain.
  2. Sauté garlic in olive oil in a skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add tomato sauce and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Introduce heavy cream, stirring to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Toss in the drained gnocchi and coat well with the sauce.
  6. Finish with grated Parmesan and fresh basil, warming through for another minute.
  7. Plate and serve hot with a drizzle of olive oil on top.

Notes

Feel free to add veggies, proteins, or swap ingredients based on your preferences. This dish can be made ahead but add gnocchi fresh when ready to serve.
